Meet MIA: Mompreneur, CEO, and GIRL BOSS.

It all begins with an idea.

I know my worth, I know what I bring to the table.
— Mia Cozier

Can you share with us where you were born and raised, and where your business was founded?

I was born in Venezuela and raised in South Florida. My business was founded in West Palm Beach, and we are currently located in Lake Worth Beach.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I fell in love with juicing and clean eating because it changed the way I felt, lighter, more energized, and more like myself. Fitness became part of my daily life, and over time, I realized I wanted to help others experience that same relief and balance. Juice and clean living are core to who I am. I believe when you eat well, you live well. Starting my own juice business felt like the perfect way to share that passion, joy, and healthy lifestyle with others.

Can you tell us about your journey from the idea stage to launching your business?

My journey honestly started with a simple, random idea my daughter’s father mentioned. At first, I didn’t think much of it, but the more I sat with it, the more it felt right. I’ve always been passionate about juicing, clean eating, and fitness, so the idea quickly turned into a vision. I started researching, experimenting with recipes, and imagining what my business could become.

What began as a small spark grew into something real. I took the leap, invested in my dream, and built it step by step. Now, two years later, here we are, a booming business built around something I genuinely love. It’s been a mix of faith, hard work, learning as I go, and staying true to my passion for healthy living.

Can you share a particularly memorable or rewarding moment you've experienced in your entrepreneurial journey?

One moment I’ll never forget happened when we were still under construction. I found a ten-dollar bill right outside the door of the shop. It might sound small, but for me, it felt like a sign, like confirmation that I was exactly where I needed to be. From that moment on, I knew it was up.

It wasn’t just about the money, it was the feeling of alignment. Opening a business is scary, and I had been dealing with stress, doubt, and so many expenses. Finding that $10 felt like God saying, “Keep going, I got you.”

Another rewarding moment has been seeing customers walk in for the first time, loving the space, and coming back again. Watching something that was once just an idea turn into a place people enjoy, that’s the part that really makes it all worth it.

How do you balance your personal and professional life as a business owner?

I’m still learning how to balance everything, especially since opening my storefront. I haven’t fully returned to my regular routine because I’ve been working nonstop to make sure the shop runs smoothly. But even with the chaos, I make it a priority to be present as a mom, a girlfriend, and most importantly, for myself. I need that alone time, it keeps me centered and grounded.

I’m realizing that balance isn’t about having everything perfect, it’s about finding what works in each season of life. Some days I’m more focused on the business, and other days I slow down to recharge or spend time with my family. I’m learning to give myself grace, to ask for help when I need it, and to remind myself that taking care of me is part of taking care of my business.

How do you stay motivated and inspired when facing setbacks or challenges?

My kids keep me going, they’re my biggest motivation. I want to be the person they look up to, their superhero, and the example that shows them anything is possible. When I face setbacks, I remind myself that I’m building something for them and for our future.

But beyond that, my passion for what I do keeps me inspired. I truly believe in healthy living, in the power of good food, and in the impact my business has on my community. Even on the hard days, I go back to my “why,” my family, my purpose, and the people I serve. That’s what keeps me pushing through challenges.

What challenges did you face as a female entrepreneur, and how did you overcome them?

As a female entrepreneur, one of my biggest challenges happened right at the beginning. I got scammed badly and took a huge loss. It was discouraging, but I refused to let it break me. I knew God had a bigger plan for me, and I trusted that everything I lost would come back tenfold.

Being a woman in business means constantly proving yourself, but I’ve always had that boss mentality. Nothing can stop me when I’m focused. As long as I’m healthy and grounded, I can accomplish anything I put my mind to.

I overcame those early setbacks by staying strong, learning from my mistakes, and trusting my purpose. Every challenge taught me resilience, smarter decision making, and the importance of following my intuition. Those tough moments made me the businesswoman I am today.

What advice would you give to other women who aspire to start their own businesses?

We need more women in business. My biggest advice is simple: just do it. Start the business, make a plan, and take the risk. Challenge yourself because growth comes from getting uncomfortable. There’s no better feeling than being your own boss and making your own money.

I always say the real flex is having your own. Having a man with money is a bonus, not a foundation. Your independence and your hustle will always speak louder.

Also, stay focused, stay consistent, and don’t let anyone talk you out of your dreams. Surround yourself with people who want to see you win. And remember, you don’t have to know everything on day one. Learn as you go, believe in your vision, and trust that you’re capable of building something powerful.

The Socially for HER blog is all about empowering women and recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of women. So is there another female entrepreneur that you want to give a shoutout to?

I have so many amazing female entrepreneurs I admire, and I love my circle of boss friends. But just to name a few, first I want to give a huge shoutout to Chade, the owner of Launch It Agency, who keeps my social media on point and my followers engaged. Krystal Powell, the owner of the newest and dopest caribbean fusion restaurant in Pembroke Pines, Lume Bistro & Lounge, is another inspiration.

My best friend, Ana Brown, owner of Backyard Bar & Lounge, your go to spot in Louisiana for good vibes, great food, and even better company. Laura Cabrera, founder of Vilena Swim, creates beautiful handmade Brazilian bikinis and shows what it means to turn creativity into a thriving business. And Amy Fuentes, a new Airbnb and real estate developer, reminds me that taking risks pays off.

Ashley, also known as @ashleeydidit, is one of Palm Beach County’s most well known stylists, trusted for her flawless ponytails, braids, and quick weaves.

I’m inspired by each of these women. Their drive, creativity, and hustle motivate me every day to keep pushing in my own business. Women supporting women truly makes all the difference.
